Valor Christian Campus, a 35-acre site dedicated to a Christian-based high school, sought a comprehensive signage and wayfinding system to enhance campus navigation while honoring its legacy and traditions. HCM was engaged to define the space and create a unique sense of place that aligns with the school’s values.
The project began with a streamlined approach to the school’s identity, focusing on the letter ‘V’ as the emblem of the Valor brand. This emblem was prominently featured by being punched out of metal signage, creating a striking positive and negative effect that reinforces the brand’s presence.
To ensure the signage harmonized with the existing architecture, a sophisticated color palette was selected, reflecting the design ethos of HCM’s architectural team. The signage system was conceived around the concept of elevating Valor’s campus, giving it a collegiate feel while enhancing approachability and ease of navigation for visitors.
Overall, the new signage and wayfinding system not only improves functional navigation across the extensive campus but also reinforces Valor Christian Campus’s identity and enhances its welcoming atmosphere.
