The Valor Christian Schools campus reflects an academic environment – the design creates the classic image with natural materials of stone and brick. By arranging facilities as a campus, a feeling of intimacy and individualized learning takes place. Disciplines are grouped together to create a sense of focus to the individual academic and co-curricular activities. The campus setting provides the opportunity for regular outdoor interaction as students cross the quad and migrate between buildings. When complete, the campus will include an academic building, athletic building and stadium with concessions, chapel, visual and performing arts complex, and aquatics facility.
The three-story Academics Building provides ample classrooms for a broad selection of courses plus eight science labs for an in-depth study of the sciences. Research is facilitated by the 5,300 sf extensive library/media center.
The Athletic/Stadium Complex offers a 2,000-seat football and track stadium, soccer field, baseball field, softball field, and tennis courts. The Athletic Building has two gymnasiums, a wrestling room, concessions, commons area, full kitchen, and a fitness center.
The 85,000 sf Valor Center for Culture and Influence offers students a state-of-the-art facility for specialized instruction in several creative areas. The Center houses a 700-seat auditorium, black box studio, various studios and a variety of music and art instruction spaces. Audio and TV recording studios are designed to allow the students to experience professional, hands-on training with the production, recording and broadcasting of audio and visual arts. The dance studios are designed to not only serve as learning labs, but as performance spaces. The black box theater provides students the opportunity to create new space as they explore what it means to act and perform.
