Will Cleaveland is an architect and lab planner with 25 years of experience in the science and technology field. His experience includes base building and lab planning for life science-based academic, research, health sciences, pharmaceutical, and healthcare labs with a focus on vivarium planning and rodent and primate facilities. Will has completed complex science and technology projects, including BSL-3 level containment spaces for clients such as the National Institutes of Health, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, University of Pittsburgh, Tulane University, Virginia Polytechnic University, University of Virginia, and the University of Maryland System.
Will is a contributing editor to the NIH—Design Requirements Manual, is well-versed in the AAALAC Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, and has reviewed or prepared all measure of scientific facility and equipment-based grant applications.
