Matt DeWolfe, AIA, LEED AP, CDT, Principal

Matthew DeWolfe is a licensed architect and a principal with nearly 30 years of architectural and construction industry experience. As the leader of the Contract Administration team at Hord Coplan Macht, Mr. DeWolfe primarily focuses on healthcare and multi-family projects–but his experience and expertise allow him unique insights into the construction process especially in the areas of exterior wall enclosure systems for many of HCM’s projects.

Matthew co-chairs the firm’s nationwide Quality Control Committee, performing full reviews of document sets as well as developing training seminars and sharing building science knowledge and best practices while mentoring all levels of staff to make sure the technical quality and accuracy of documents is maintained within the Standard of Care.

He has undertaken forensic investigations using both selective demolition and moisture modeling software. He has conducted existing building conditions reports for structures under consideration for purchase/investment opportunities.

With his extensive background in construction administration he has worked on several notable projects, including the $105M Three Light Tower, the $100M Two Light Tower (both in Kansas City, MO), the $100M One Cardinal Way in St. Louis, MO (both luxury residential mixed-use towers) as well as the multi-phase $30M UMMC Shock Trauma Center Renewal project and the $34M Maryland General Hospital Central Care Expansion.
