A founding partner of Hord Coplan Macht, Carol Macht has been responsible for landscape architecture design services provided by the firm over its 40-year history. She has earned a reputation for providing the highest quality of design which, through clarity of ideas, sensitivity to site and context, and integration of the dreams and goals of clients, produces successful and meaningful projects. Carol’s work focuses on institutions, urban public space and private gardens.
Ms. Macht is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Her projects have been recognized with many awards from the ASLA. She was named Baltimore’s Best Landscape Architect by Baltimore Magazine in August, 2002. Her projects have also been featured in various local and national publications: Baltimore Sun, Sun Paper’s Magazine, Luxe Magazine, Builder Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Style Magazine and in the books, Innovative Design Solutions in Landscape Architecture by Steven Cantor, and Making Paths & Walkways by Paige Gilchrist Blomgren.
