West Shore Park is perched along the water’s edge between the Maryland Science Center and the new Baltimore Visitor’s Center in the “heart” of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Hord Coplan Macht teamed with the nationally recognized design firm Thomas Balsley and Associates to plan and design the new park.
Over 3.25 acres in size, West Shore Park serves as the City’s front door to the waterfront. The park contains a large flexible lawn for concerts and events, park pavilions, horticultural gardens, sitting areas and an interactive fountain.
West Shore Park is Baltimore’s most prominent waterfront park and serves as the activity center for Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
