HCM was selected to assist LCCC in the re-imagination of their Crossroads Building. The 9,000 sf, centrally located space was redefined into the new Student Engagement & Collaboration Center. HCM gathered feedback from students, faculty and administration over multiple days, overwhelmingly confirming the students’ desire for space to collect outside of class, both in groups and individually.
The renovated space is a destination for students to collaborate and relax, and acts as a living room for the campus. The central space is open, dynamic and flexible and centers around a fireplace and community café. It integrates a Wyoming-inspired palette with natural wood patterns and a license plate feature wall. The renovation also included spaces for the following programs: Student Veterans Association, High School Programs, and an IT Help Desk.
