The 50,000 sf Washington Adventist University Health Careers and Wellness Center was designed by Hord Coplan Macht Architecture to serve as both a health education building and a wellness center for the student population. The three-story space is centered around collaboration and social connectedness, offering comfortable seating arrangements, conversation booths and private group rooms to support a variety of learning styles. Prominently located at the entrance is a three-story feature wall, created from a collage of metal panels laser-cut with custom wellness icons, further promoting the Center’s main objective of health education and wellness.
