Erickson Living desired to reposition their existing Riderwood Town Center Building with the goals of better serving the needs of their residents, responding to changing market demands and implementing meaningful changes to this community. The first phase in the design process was an in-depth analysis that identified the existing character, opportunities and challenges faced within the established community.
Hord Coplan Macht developed a vision with this analysis through the development of guiding principles. The final plan focused on enhancing resident space with three new dining venues and an enhanced entry lounge and library space. The process for this included numerous resident focus groups and town hall meetings to ensure buy-in from all parties.
