The Colorado State University (CSU) Health Outreach Education Center is a 38,000 SF, four-story addition to the east side of the existing149,713 SF Anatomy-Zoology Building. The addition accommodates the Department of Biomedical Sciences Human Anatomy Program which includes: human gross anatomy and neuroanatomy teaching laboratories; a virtual anatomy lab, digital anatomy, and support spaces, including storage and locker rooms, and room for future growth for a community outreach initiative and departmental offices.
The Health Education Outreach Center provides outreach initiatives designed to teach students and visitors of all ages. The Health Education Outreach Center anchors the west side of the new CSU Science Commons, which provides an inviting outdoor open space for the CSU science students. HCM also completed the 60,000 SF Chemistry Research building and the 154,000 SF Biology building located on the north edge of the Commons. Between these three new science facilities, CSU students have a rich educational environment to inspire their research and learning.
