Hord Coplan Macht designed the new Student Services Building at Alamance Community College in Graham, North Carolina. This building occupies a premier location at the front of campus. We were charged with designing a building that invites students, faculty, and visitors into a large entrance lobby that overlooks a two-story gathering space, that is used for both school and community functions. This building houses the student services department, which includes Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar.

The design of this building utilizes the slope of the site to allow you to enter on the upper level and exit on the lower level via a monumental stair.
