From a vacant warehouse in the Mondawmin neighborhood of Baltimore to 73-unit mixed-income apartment community, HCM-designed New Shiloh Village transformed a contaminated site into a community. Today, the New Shiloh Village Apartments represents $22 million in new investment. Sixty-five of the apartments are affordable for low-income families, including 19 for very low-income residents, and the remaining eight are market rate.
The project was recently recognized with a Maryland Sustainable Growth Award, an honor given to projects which help Maryland get closer to realizing its “12 Planning Visions.”
