Hord Coplan Macht worked with Morgan State University, a historically Black university and Maryland’s Preeminent Urban Public Research University, to design a new, world-class residence hall and dining facility. The Thurgood Marshall Hall features a mix of semi-suite and apartment-style housing and the accompanying dining hall will serve the entire campus.
The project, which honors Baltimore-native and first Black Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, will form a new hub for student activity and create a vibrant space for students to gather.
HCM provided the architecture and landscape services and partnered with Moody Nolan for programming and interior design.
The Thurgood Marshall Hall was recently featured on WBALTV11, click here to see the story about move-in day: https://bit.ly/3QoRfgW
