Hord Coplan Macht (HCM) is proud to announce the swearing in of Sustainability Director and Principal, Lisa Ferretto, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, GGP, to Baltimore City’s Commission on Sustainability. Ferretto joins a diverse group of cross-industry professionals committed to a sustainable and resilient future for Baltimore.
“I am very excited to be part of the Commission and honored to join such talented people to work towards a more sustainable Baltimore and world – promoting well-being, social equity, environmental and economic prosperity.” Ferretto said of her new position.
Since joining the firm in 2005, Ferretto has helped push sustainability and well-being into the core area of practice for the firm, contributing her expertise to innumerable education, housing, healthcare, senior living and landscape architecture projects. With her help, HCM lists nearly 130 LEED projects including 60 certified totaling over 5.4 million square feet and the firm has earned several recognitions, including USGBC MD’s ‘Most Transformative Firm,’ MD Green Registry’s ‘Leadership Award’ and was listed as the 46th ‘Top Green Architecture Firm’ from Building Design & Construction.
The Baltimore Commission on Sustainability meets every third Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Baltimore City Planning Office.
