Hord Coplan Macht worked with Caroline County Public Schools to secure additional state funding for the new Greensboro Elementary School in Caroline County. Typically, the maximum square footage of a new state-funded project is determined by the Interagency Commission on School Construction’s guidelines, but exceptions can be requested if the school demonstrates a need. A large number of students at the school are English language learners and require additional support, which led to a non traditional school design.
