HCM’s DC Metro office was excited to host a group of local high school and college students as part of its first Architect for a Day program! Architect for a Day, or AFAD, is Hord Coplan Macht’s signature educational experience for students interested in learning about the profession of architecture and related disciplines. Students are provided with first-hand experience about careers in design through fun and interactive programming developed by our architects and designers. AFAD first ran in our Baltimore office in 2016 and its success has built demand to bring the program to our DC Metro and Denver offices.
This session’s attendees took in insight from representatives from each of HCM’s studios and got to tour The Denizen, a high-rise multi-family building slated for completion next year.
