Hord Coplan Macht is dedicated to providing excellent design for people in all communities.

Since 1977 Hord Coplan Macht has been a leader in the creation of safe and sustainable housing for people in need. With over 7,450 completed affordable housing units in more than 95 projects our teams of talented designers, working within tight budgets and on challenging sites, are dedicated to providing the same responsible planning and design solutions to our affordable housing clients that we provide to all our clients. We believe great design can effect positive change in all lives.

As architects and designers committed to our surrounding communities, we encourage our staff to actively participate in efforts to revitalize and support the cities where Hord Coplan Macht has offices. Our Social Responsibility Committee has helped neighborhoods clean up streams and local Parks; provided probono design services for a number of communities and businesses in need; raised money for Holiday presents for needy children; and prepared meals for our cities’ homeless citizens. This culture of social responsibility informs our design approach, and when paired with our expertise and experience, makes Hord Coplan Macht a true innovator in the design of affordable homes.
