Hord Coplan Macht Principal Glen Tipton, FAIA recently spoke at the Leading Age 2016 Annual Meeting.  His presentation, “Strategies to Appeal to a Changing Market” also included speakers Karen Adams, Vice President, GSI Research & Consulting, Grass Valley, CA and Andrew Morgan, Director of Marketing, Vantage House, Columbia, MD.   The presentation:

  • Explored market research about the changing attitudes and expectations of younger silent generation seniors and the emerging early boomers.


  • Explained an “outside the box” marketing campaign that helped an existing community capture a larger and younger share of the market.


  • Examined how alternative settings may benefit from the services and amenities already available in the community.
