She is a 1973 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a major in architecture and a 1975 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master's in Landscape Architecture. Carol has led the landscape architecture (LA) studio in designs ranging from master planning to award-winning urban landscape projects. Carol has directed a variety of projects for Loyola College, Goucher College and Washington College as well as the City of Baltimore. Her commissions for private residential clients have garnered awards and been published in Baltimore Magazine, Sun Magazine, Style Magazine and Southern Living. Her work has also been featured in the books Innovative Design Solutions in Landscape Architecture by Steven Cantor and Making Paths & Walkways by Paige Gilchrist Blomgren.
