Hord Coplan Macht Continues Growth with Five New Hires

BALTIMORE– March 9, 2011Hord Coplan Macht (HCM), a full-service architecture and landscape architecture firm, announced today the addition of five designers to the HCM team.

Brad Holder—With ten years of design experience, Brad is joining the firm’s housing studio.  A 2001 graduate of Auburn University, he was most recently with Marks, Thomas Architects in Baltimore.

Ko Kuwabara, LEED AP—Ko returns to HCM’s healthcare studio after spending a year with Engineering Ministries International where he provided pro bono design services for K-12 and higher education projects in India.  Ko holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia (2007).

Drew Suljak—Drew is joining HCM’s education studio.  A 2010 Master’s graduate from the University of Oregon’s Urban Program in Portland, Drew previously worked for Bowie Gridley Architects in Washington, DC.

Valerie Smith, LEED AP—A new member of HCM’s housing studio, Valerie holds a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Maryland (2010) and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University (2005).  She previously worked for Ayers Saint Gross Architects in Baltimore.

Anne Stahl—An interior designer, Anne holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Jacksonville (2010) and was previously employed by Rink Design Partnership of Jacksonville, FL.
