Education Design Executive Paul Lund, AIA Joins Hord Coplan Macht Team
Hord Coplan Macht (HCM) is proud to announce that Paul R. Lund, AIA, LEED AP BD+C has joined the firm as Principal. Lund is a leader in Hord Coplan Macht’s higher education practice which includes a vibrant portfolio of work for colleges and universities throughout the region. He brings 22 years of design experience, including notable projects for the University of Virginia, Georgetown University, American University and Johns Hopkins University, to HCM and his proven track record in college and university facility design will further enhance the growth mission of the firm.

Lund’s experience lends itself to such growth. He has an extensive history of developing business in new markets and cultivating key strategic relationships.
Prior to joining Hord Coplan Macht, Lund was a Principal at Bowie Gridley Architects in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor’s of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and is an active member of the DC-area design community, recently presenting at the Virginia Educational Facilities Planners Annual Conference and serving as past co-chair for the Washington, DC AIA Chapter’s Urban Design Committee and on the formation committee for the Design Arlington Awards Program.
