HCM is a great place to work! The office is located in downtown Baltimore in the Inner Harbor, and with its open office design, every workstation has terrific views of the city. We have been able to attract and retain some of the best and brightest design principals and staff in the country, primarily because of the many opportunities to work on exciting and varied project types.

The firm has a corporate culture that promotes collaboration, and everyone contributes to the success of the firm. Weekly staff meetings provide a forum for learning what others in the office are working on, and sharing ideas and new information.

With staff representing more than 10 countries around the world, 40% of our in-house staff are women, and 30% are minority (African American, Asian, Indian, etc.).

We recognize the importance of the relationships between building, site and community. We believe there is true value in sustainability and encourage environmental stewardship in our entire team. HCM has 51 individuals who are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals, more than 60% of our staff.
