Landscape Architect 2-5 Years’ Experience, Denver Office

Landscape Architect 8+ Years’ Experience, Denver Office

Our ideal candidate will be a creative person with strong design and project management skills to lead projects from inception to completion along with exceptional client relationship skills. The successful candidate will have professional experience leading the design effort from concept to the final design on a variety of project types and scales.
Additional qualifications include:
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, marketing and presentation skills;
• Demonstrated excellence in creative design solutions and ability to design and communicate those designs graphically and verbally while staying within project design budgets;
• Experience preparing highly detailed construction documents and specifications;
• Demonstrated excellence in Conceptual Design through Construction Documents, including hand sketches, plans and three dimensional graphics such as Sketch-Up, Revit or 3-D Studio;
• Demonstrated excellence in presentation graphics programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop);
• Experience managing contracts and sub-consultants of large multi-disciplinary teams;
• The ability to train, mentor and manage emerging professionals;
• Extensive construction management experience is a must;
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects;
• Experience in proposal preparation and marketing;
• Currently Registered as a Landscape Architect in Colorado (or capable of becoming registered in the short term). LEED Accredited Professional preferred.

Historic Preservation Architect, Denver Office

Hord Coplan Macht – Denver is looking to expand our preservation studio by hiring an energetic, passionate and technically-minded historic preservation architect. Our team is self-motivated and driven to preserve our local and national building treasures. We are looking for an individual who can assist us with historic structure assessments, writing grant applications, and technical historic preservation projects. Applicants must have thorough understand of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standard for the Treatment of Historic Properties and a fundamental understanding of material conservation practice for masonry, wood frame and timber architecture. Applicants must have a minimum of 5-8 years of historic preservation experience in the architecture and/or construction industries. Strong computer skills are required including knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and all Microsoft Office programs.
