Intern Architect – Housing/Mixed-Use Studio, Baltimore Office

Hord Coplan Macht’s office in Baltimore is seeking an Intern Architect to join the Housing/Mixed-Use team. This position will participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.

As an intern architect, you will collaborate with team members to design and document multifamily, mixed-use projects.  Each intern architect will work with a project manager who will help nurture your career.  A positive attitude is essential; culture is important to us.  A minimum of 3 years’ experience in architectural practice is required; housing/mixed-use experience preferred.  Candidates must possess excellent design, graphic and presentation skills, and have knowledge in construction documentation and Revit.  LEED accreditation is a plus.

Project Manager – Housing/Mixed-Use Studio, Baltimore Office

Hord Coplan Macht’s office in Baltimore is seeking a Project Manager to join the Housing/Mixed-Use team. This position will manage client interaction and guide project teams throughout the design process; coordinating execution of design intent from start to finish.

Candidates must be able to multi-task, work as a team player and be willing to mentor less experienced colleagues. A positive attitude is essential; culture is important to us.  A minimum of 6 years’ experience in architectural practice is required; housing/mixed-use experience preferred.  Candidates must also demonstrate knowledge in building codes, construction document preparation, bid review and construction administration. Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree is required.  Architectural registration, Revit, LEED experience preferred.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly collaborative work environment but, also have the autonomy, experience and confidence to work independently. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills to interact with teammates, consultants, and vendors!

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters Degree from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program.

Minimum 2 years of professional full time experience
