Ko Kuwabara has been involved in the design and construction of diverse project types including healthcare, housing, education, institutional, and commercial facilities. His work at HCM focuses primarily on healthcare and education projects. He has experience on all phases of design for research laboratories and inpatient and outpatient care facilities for clients such as Western Maryland Health System, Sinai Hospital, and Consolidated Medical Services.

Ko has recently returned to HCM’s Healthcare Studio following a yearlong stint in India participating in various pro-bono design projects.

Favorite Sushi Bar?

I don’t actually like fish (almost blasphemous considering I’m Japanese…) so I enjoy sushi at home, where I can put marinated beef in my sushi.
