Carol Macht is an award-winning landscape architect whose expertise includes college campuses, healthcare institutions including healing gardens and unique residential designs in addition to civic landscapes and parks.
She is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Carol holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Michigan.
Carol has led the landscape architecture studio in designs ranging from master planning to urban landscape projects. She has directed a variety of projects for Loyola University Maryland, Goucher College and Washington College, as well as the City of Baltimore. Her commissions for private residential clients have garnered awards and been published in Baltimore Magazine, Sun Magazine, Style Magazine, and Southern Living.
Carol serves on the Baltimore Museum of Art Board of Directors and on the Maryland Architectural Review Board since being appointed by Governor Glendening in 1998. She also serves on the boards of the Baltimore Design School and the Baltimore Tree Trust.
