As an Associate and Project manager, Alyson leads and collaborates on a diverse roster of high-profile design projects throughout central Maryland and beyond.  She is a trusted consultative partner to her clients, including Washington College, Loyola University Maryland, major DC and Baltimore area developers as well as various healthcare institutions and federal government entities, resulting in years of repeat business. She has proven her ability to develop compelling yet functional design concepts while also managing and coordinating a range of project types and consultants efficiently and effectively.

In addition to her training in landscape architecture, Alyson’s background as a farm manager and organic vegetable grower at Thanksgiving Farm at the Center for Discovery, and her interest in ecology significantly influence her approach to place making and design. She has also undertaken a number of groundbreaking urban agriculture projects with Maryland Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (MDH2E)  to serve the community outside of her role with Hord Coplan Macht and served a 4-year term on the inaugural Baltimore City Mayor’s Commission on Sustainability.
